"THE B's"
Sharing Time or Activity Day
WHAT DO WE WANT TO HAVE HAPPEN:
Preparation and Supplies Needed:
- Make and deliver the invitations during the week prior to the activity.
- Be prepared to teach the children "The B's" song found at the end of this activity.
- Obtain one sheet of"The Bee" Scripture Stickersfor each child. You can
order them from www.debanae.net
- Bring yellow crayons, color pencils, or high-lighters to mark the scriptures.
- Have the children bring their scriptures.
ACTIVITY:
- Sing the song "Follow the Prophet"
- Begin by asking the boys and girls who the Prophet is. Talk with them about him for a minute.
- Then tell this story.

- Explain that the prophet gives us counsel to help us in our lives. A little while ago he gave us this counsel and it is always good to review it.
- Read through this article and share it with the children.

SCRIPTURE STICKER ACTIVITY:
- During the Prophet's talk, he refers to many scriptures. Tell the primary children that we will
be placing a scripture sticker on some of the scriptures to remind us of what the Prophet
says to do. Read each scripture and give them time to find them in their scriptures.
Have them place the sticker in the margin or at the top of the page. Then mark the
scripture reference with yellow. Then in the margin they can write the words. (For instance; I Believe "in Being Smart" etc.)

Gordon Bitner Hinckley is our prophet dear,
he gives us counsel and we should all adhere.
He says to "Be Grateful" and thankful to others,
"Be Smart" and "Be Clean" and choose friends carefully.
To thine own self "Be True," always "Be Humble"
and "Be most Prayerful." These are the six Beeees.
