Have a scrapbook night where you take a
group picture of all of your Young Women and Leaders together. (A poloroid or digital
cameras are great for nights like this.) Or take the pictures on a Sunday when everyone is
dressed nice and have the pictures developed for the scrapbook night. Simply print the
letterhead template, have the young women color in the "Value
Words" with the appropriate colors, put the sticker on the page and then the picture of the
Young Women Group. They can crop and add different colors of paper behind the picture,
write the names on the page whatever they want. This is meant to be a bonding (fun) time
to be together. VERY IMPORTANT!!
Supplies Needed for this activity:
- 1 scrapbook page for each girl
- 1 "Value Line Sticker" For each girl
- 1 group picture for each girl
- color pencils or markers
- Pens
- funky sissors
- Different papers in the value colors for cropping picture
- glue sticks
- Sheet protectors
- Skittles (to munch on)
Template
Select the format that will work best for you to print the letterhead template.
- Microsoft Word - If you have Microsoft Word 97 or
2000, use this version.
- Corel WordPerfect - If you have Corel WordPerfect 8,
use this version.
- Clip Art - If you use a graphics program, select this version.
When the picture opens, right click and select "Save Picture As" or "Save Image As" to
copy the template to your computer. Using your program, place the image with edges
touching the page margins. See picture above.
