"Solo Experience"

Laura -- Age 13
I really enjoyed solo Time at camp last summer. We had to go away from camp and find a quiet place to sit. It was so much fun to answer the questions and think about all the new, fun things we did at camp. It meant a lot more than just reading our camp manual and scriptures. It was also neat to kneel out in the woods and talk to my Heavenly Father. . . .Right at that very moment, I felt so close to the Savior. I hope we do this again at camp.

Candice -- Age 15
I liked solo Time at camp because during it I became closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. My testimony grew. . . .I grew spiritually . . . I was able to talk to my Father in Heaven and I felt a great burden lifted. I felt much better about myself. I just loved the whole experience!!!!

Heather -- Age 17
I had to leave camp early because of a family trip. When I had some quiet time, I opened my booklet and after I started reading about the Solo Experience, I started crying. I cried because I didn't get to experience it at camp with my friends. As I read and answered the questions, I had such a good feeling about myself and was able to honestly answer and ponder the questions. I'm sure this experience was one of all the girls' best mornings at camp. I'm glad my leaders did this for us!!!
