Solo Experience Booklet

When you are scheduling camp this year be sure that you schedule time at the end of your stay for "Solo Time". This is the time for the Young Women to have some quiet time alone to think about Heavenly Father's creations, to read and mark their scriptures, to write their testimony, to reflect upon their role as a young woman, and to kneel in prayer and talk to her Heavenly Father.

My dear friend, Lisa Reed, is the Young Women president in the Bringhurst Ward. They did this as part of their camp last year and has shared with us what they did. Of course they have made "Solo Time" a tradition that they are going to do every year. Here is what some of her young women had to say about their "Solo Experience".

Together we have made a "Solo Experience" booklet available for you. It is 10 pages (size 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"). Each page has questions for them to think about and lines to write their answers. Each booklet is filled with wonderful graphics designed by our own talented Debi Neibaur, whom you see in almost everything we do. Each booklet contains a sheet of our "Dear to Your Heart" scripture stickers to use in conjunction with "Solo Time". As I'm sure you can tell this is a very spiritual experience that even the girls who, ummmmm shall we say "buck the system" °Ü°, will return to you filled.
